Product overview
Subdue is available for purchase until March 31st 2024. Growers have until 31st December 2024 to use up any stocks, in accordance with the existing label advice. The move follows an announcement by the GB regulatory authorities to follow EU guidelines to remove certain co-formulants in products on a precautionary principle. The move will also affect sales across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Syngenta are in the process of registering a reformulation of Subdue for the UK which will be an equivalent product (same a.i and loading) without the co-formulant. No other Syngenta ornamentals products, including Bonzi, Mainspring, Elasto G5, Taegro, Hicure, Dynamec or Switch, are affected by the acceptable co-formulant legislation.
Label and download information will remain available on the website during the use up period and for historic use records compliance.

It contains metalaxyl-M, a phenylamide active ingredient that’s particularly effective when used preventively or curatively against otherwise difficult-to-control oomycete diseases such as Pythium and Phytophthora root rots.
Designed for application either as a drench or incorporated into growing media or soil, Subdue is authorised for use on both protected and outdoor ornamentals.
